This painting was inspired by Harmonia, The Greek Goddess of Harmony. I found a classical painting of a beautiful red head with a snake draped around her, and thought I would add my own spin to match Athena! The two pair really well together, I'm so pleased with how they have come out.
The fiery red of the hair and the deep greens of the snake complement each other and bring a balance of warmth and cool tones. The illustration style is definitely something I will be playing around with more in the rest of this challenge.
